The Royal Anthropological Institute has a particular commitment to promoting the public understanding of anthropology, and the contribution of anthropology to public affairs. In addition to its outreach activities, the institute publishes academic journals, has a privileged link with the Anthropology Library (British Museum), and has an extensive film, archive, and photograph collection which provide invaluable resources to those interested in the discipline.
